Berrymede Juniors

Weekly workshops - Ignite created a radio station for Berrymede Primary School – run by year 6 & 7 pupils and hosted on the school website. ‘Berrytastic FM’ featured quiz shows and news stories based on school events. The workshops ran twice a week and pupils aged 9-11 years wrote and presented programmes on subjects from the Great Fire of London to the school’s own gardening project. Within ten weeks, the school had learned how to use their own facilities to create radio programmes that future classes will be able to listen to and enjoy.
