Brief History

ig-nite (now Ignite Creative TV) was founded in 1998 by Kary Stewart and began life as a Youth PR & Marketing company working with cutting edge creatives in music, art and technology. Some of these clients were gained as a result of relationships formed prior to 1998, when Kary was in a partnership with Tully & Co - a full service youth agency based in Hoxton Square in London. At Tully's Kary Stewart account managed the team that won a Media Week Award for their work on the Foster's Ice Street Art campaign.

The vision at ig-nite was s to be the bridge between artist and media and the work included PR, promotion, management, DJ bookings, marketing and events. This resulted in the birth of many creative projects and collaborations amongst artists within the ig-nite network.

Many of ig-nite’s team came from journalistic and broadcasting backgrounds and in 1998 the company began to offer these skills as services to clients, eventually fully morphing into a content production outfit.

From 2000-2003 ig-nite was also based in San Francisco, USA, forming many of the stateside partnerships that the company still works with today.

In 2007 the company re branded as Ignite Creative TV Ltd.
